Jennifer Hassey & Dayton Stoyan met in 2011 while volunteering their winters as ski instructors with the Canadian Adaptive Ski program, CADS. They married in 2013 and lovingly welcomed a daughter Harper in 2014 followed by a son Beckett in 2017.

Life took an unexpected turn in late 2021 when Jennifer was diagnosed with stage 3 breast and lymph node cancer. Jennifer dedicated the entirety of 2022 and early 2023 to extensive chemotherapy & radiation treatments as well as multiple surgeries. Jennifer is eternally grateful to her beautiful family, friends and amazing team of doctors at RVH for getting her through this challenging journey. Post cancer treatment, Jennifer was diagnosed with lymphedema in her left arm as a result of having cancerous lymph nodes removed. Lymphedema is an incurable, lifelong disease that requires her to wear compression garments daily in addition to multiple daily therapies to help minimize the swelling and to help maintain function of her left arm. She proudly wears her compression garments in a bright pink colour to help raise awareness of what is considered “cancer’s dirty little secret” which unfortunately effects so many people around the world.

It was when Jennifer lost all of her hair during chemo that her & Dayton realized the power of permanent makeup. When you look good, you feel good...or at least better! Although she lost all of her hair, she had the most amazing eyebrows thanks to cosmetic tattooing. It was then that Dayton & Jennifer understood how many women and men could benefit from this service. Whether it be for medical reasons, over-plucking, or simply the desire to wake up with your natural looking makeup already in place, permanent makeup can be life changing for so many.

Under the mentorship and training of Liron Bartman, owner of Beauty Brows by Li, and one of the most talented cosmetic tattoo artists in the industry, Jennifer & Dayton were certified in cosmetic tattooing. Using the most advanced European techniques and state of the art equipment, while sticking true to the philosophy that less is more, they discovered their passion for cosmetic tattooing...by enhancing people’s natural beauty and helping give clients the confidence and freedom they deserve to enjoy all that life has to offer! Their continuing education, passion for the art, and dedication to delivering clean, crisp and beautifully healed results has allowed them both to hone in their skills to become extremely talented and successful cosmetic tattoo artists.
