Booking Policy

Ink Beautique requires all clients pay a non-refundable deposit fee at the time of booking in order to hold their appointment. This fee will be applied to the service amount owing at the end of the appointment and the client will pay the remaining balance owing.  

Cancellation Policy

Ink Beautique requires clients to cancel their appointment no less than 48 hours prior to their appointment.  The deposit fee is non-refundable unless the client re-books the same service to be performed within 21 days of initial the appointment in which case the paid deposit will be transferred over to the rescheduled appointment.

No Show/Late Policy

If a client does not show up for their appointment, their deposit fee will not be returned and a new non-refundable deposit fee will be required to secure a new appointment.  If a client is more than 15 minutes late, the deposit fee is  non-refundable and a new appointment is required with a new non-refundable deposit fee.

Consultation Fee Policy

Cosmetic tattooing is not suitable for everyone.  A consultation is included in the cost of the appointment except in the case where any one of the following applies to the client. In this case,  a separate consultation with fee is required prior to an appointment booked to ensure that the client is a suitable candidate, in the best interest of the client's health and desired results;​

  • Keloid scarring

  • Previous cosmetic tattoo/permanent makeup

  • Rosacea

  • Thyroid issues

  • Cancer

  • Anemia

  • Scars

  • History of cold sores (lip procedure)

  • Any medical issue that effects the immune system and/or the body's ability to heal normally.

Contraindications

As cosmetic tattooing is not suitable for everyone, there are certain contraindications that will prevent the artist from performing the service in the best interest of the client's health and desired results.  The client is to ensure prior to booking that none  of the below contraindications apply otherwise the appointment will be cancelled and the booking deposit will not be returned:

  • Under the age of 18

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Diabetes

  • Accutane within the last 2 years

  • Liver disease

  • Heart issues

  • Any medical issue not listed above that effects the immune system and/or the body's ability to heal normally

Pre Care

To achieve your best results, please follow the below pre-care instructions:

BROWS

  • Stop the use of retinols, glycolic acids, and exfoliants 7-14 days prior to brow appointment 

  • Stop the use of multivitamins, vitamin e and fish oils 7-14 prior to brow appointment

  • Last dose of antibiotics at minimum 14 days prior to appointment

  • No tanning 6-8 weeks prior to appointment

  • No Advil, caffeine or alcohol 24 hours prior to appointment

LIPS

  • Keep lips moisturized at all times for 7 days prior to appointment

  • Perform sugar scrub on lips 3 days prior 

  • For clients that have a history of cold sores, an antiviral medication is required 2-3 days prior to appointment

  • Lip filler must be done 4 weeks prior to lip blush appointment

  • No Advil, caffeine or alcohol 24 hours prior to appointment

Post Care

Your Artist will go over post care instructions at the end of the procedure however it is important to TRUST THE PROCESS! The results you see immediately after (dark and vibrant) will not be the same as your healed results and this is completely normal and expected. It will take up to 4-12 weeks of healing period before seeing the final results.  This is why a follow up appointment is crucial to perfecting the procedure.
